As part of the charity program to be delivered in Vietnam, the second Catherine Tran Bridge of Hope will be built in April, 2010 at Long An, South of Viet Nam. The bridge will provide a means of transportation for hundreds of school children of nearby schools so that they don’t have to swim across the rivers or use the boat to transport across the river any more. There is a bridge that is already built, but it is un-stable and very dangerous for children to cross. This bridge also is very far from where the children go to school. Our mission is to be able to let children travel safely from home to school. The new bridge, Bridge of Hope will allow the children to travel from one end of the bridge to the other safely and to save a lot of their travel time. Below are pictures of the assigned area where the Bridge of Hope will be built and the existing bridge with unsafe structures, 2 KM away from school and the new bridge, bridge of hope. The Bridge of Hope was officially opened on June 27, 2010 at Long An, Viet Nam. Thank you for all your support.
