The new about Catherine left me in state of complete shock. I knew Catherine ever since we were small since my mom and her mom were university friends. I remember getting together every Christmas since I was born. Catherine was a extremely caring girl, always there for her sister, and her sense of humor would always make me laugh. I remember going to her house when we were young, and making “potions” by mixing Gatorade and Sprite together. (more…)
As her sister, I am devastated to hear what had happened throughout this past days. I am in disbelief and I feel like there is something missing in my heart, but I must stay strong to make Catherine happy. We may not be able to see her now, but she is with us every moment of the day. To keep her spirit strong, I will fulfill things that she has dreamed to do. I left Toronto becoming a different person… these past few days have been the saddest time in my life when I continued to mourn your departure… I felt that you have taken away some piece in me, something very special that I will never find again… I cannot imagine how your mom and your dad can find the joy and the happiness that you brought to them so naturally by being such a wonderful daughter!
